A couple weekends ago we had a date night at the Jcc. Lauren and I were in charge of making the salad. We also made masks for our guests and Amanda was my guest. After we had dinner, we had a dance party and they played all my favorite songs, which was so awesome. Then after that, Jcc had a karaoke party, and I sang my new favorite song called This is Me from the Disney Movie Camp Rock and Steffi said that I have a good singing voice. Camp Rock is my new favorite movie, but Maya doesn't like it.

My Birthday!!
I had a great birthday party this year! We celebrated my birthday on the day of the Super Bowl, which was okay because I donβt like watching football anyway. I was so happy to have so many guests come and see me. Amanda, Keshi, Natan, Perry, Sonia, Lily, and Nicole all played Wii Karaoke with me. Steffi from Connections also came to my party and gave me a tiara that says Happy Birthday on it. Keshi gave me two DVDs (The Help and Newsies) and Perry invited me to lunch and a Broadway show. Lily and Nicole gave me bright yellow pants, and my cousin Danny gave me a DVD with Zac Efron called The Derby Stallion. Lauren gave me three celebrity autographs (one from Fran Dresher, one from Claire Danes and one from Zac Efron). Kate and Maya got me gift certificates to Best Buy. My parents surprised me with a bright red electric guitar. Everyone from my JCC Connections group took me out to celebrate my birthday, which was so nice. And on my actual birthday, Maya, Sonia, my Mom, and my Dad took me out to dinner. I think this was an awesome birthday!!!
Hey now, I’m an Allstar..
Good times..
Last month, I went to visit my cousin Lily in her new apartment, which is so well-decorated. Leave it to my cousin to design the coolest apartment in the city!
After touring her place, Lily took me out for pizza at Patsy's, which is right around the corner from the apartment. This restaurant serves some of the best pizza in the city, and this location is the original Patsy's. It certainly gives Pizza Mercato a run for its money..
I’m Baaaaack!
Hi everyone! Happy new year! It's been a very long time since I have updated my blog. About three weeks ago, I had a "crisis" and was feeling really icky and I had to go to the hospital and stay in the ICU for four days. Thankfully, by the end of my stay I was feeling better, thanks to everyone who visited me. When I got out of the hospital on Friday (two weeks ago), Steffi from JCC Connections came to visit me and she brought me balloons, flowers, and a whole bunch of get-well cards from everyone at Connections. It was so sweet!

I am feeling so much better these days and now I am ready to start off my new year, healthy and happy! I'm also really excited because next Wednesday is my birthday and I will be 23 years old. This Sunday, I'm having a birthday party and I can't wait to see all my friends and family. It's going to be a great weekend. π
What I Did Over the Holidays
Over the holidays I went up to New Jersey for Christmas/Hanukah to see my dad's side of the family which was a lot of fun. Then for the new year we went up to conneticut to visit my grandfather and my cousins on my mom's side and we exchanged presents and had a great timeI On the third night of Hanukah we had a Sam's club, and so many of my favorite people came over for latkes.
It’s Showtime!
These past few months, I participated at a SKILLS program with Daytime Moon Productions. Our group wrote a play about camp and we got to perform it in front of our family and friends. It was so much fun! I played a girl named Kelly who was really nervous about going away for the first time to camp. (It wasn't hard to act because when I went away for the first time to Camp Simcha, I was also nervous.)
Catching up With Connections..

Daniel’s Music Foundation
A few weeks ago I performed another solo at DMF rehearsal. I sang "Tearin up my heart" by N'Sync. It was fun to sing.
This past Sunday our vocal class performed at the Daniel's Music Foundation Winter concert. We sang "All-Star" by Smashmouth. Everyone did so great! All of our hard work really paid off.
