Charles In Charge: Season 1

I like the show Charles in Charge because it reminds me of the show The Nanny that I really love. Charles is a male nanny for the kids in the show. I've only watched part of Season 1, and it's really funny. In the episode I'm watching, it's a rainy Sunday, and all Charles wants to do is sleep and relax and be with his girlfriend and his friend Buddy, but the people who he works for, have stuff for him to do. Charles was half-asleep when the father was telling him what to do and now that he woke up, he feels like he has things to do, but isn't sure why. The youngest brother, Jason, wants to go to a pizza place, but his parents won't let him because he's been there 15 times. Lila, the sister, gives her friend a makeover, and Jason, who has a crush on Lila's friend, doesn't want her to change because he thinks she is pretty the way she is. So far, I think this episode is really funny because everyone is telling Charles what to do, but he can't do everything at once and has to run around the house like crazy trying to get to everything. I love that Charles, even when overwhelmed, takes care of everyone.

Even though Charles isn't biologically related to the family, he is basically a member. I love the community of the household. I can't wait watch more!

New TV Show

Today, since I wasn't feeling well, Lily and I discovered this show, Charles in Charge, that was really popular in the 1980s. It reminds me of the show The Nanny, which I really like, because Charles is the nanny for 3 kids, just like Fran. It was a perfect show for a sick day because it's really goofy and silly. I definitely recommend this show. Everyone would love it and it's available as "instant play" on Netflix!

My favorite tv shows

My favorite tv shows: Friends, and this new show called Hannah Montana. My top pick is Everybody Loves Raymond: it is about this sports writer. He lives right across the street from his parents (Fred: Very funny). His brother is totally jealous of him, because Raymond gets all the attention, especially from their mother. The brother is extremely tall. Six foot eight! (BKG: That’s tall!). He has to duck his head to get through the doorway. Their mother Marie criticizes Raymond’s wife’s cooking. (BKG: That’s not nice at all. FRED: That’s the least of it, she criticizes everything.) The father’s favorite line: “Holly crap!” Please note that I said that in quotes. It’s really funny. (FRED: It really is funny. They are all really horrible people.)

Hannah Montana is about this fourteen-year-old girl. She’s a regular teenager and secretly she is a pop star. Only her family knows, and her best friends. Miley is her real name. Hannah Montana is her stage name. She wants to have a normal life so she keeps her career a secret. So the show is about keeping the secret. Eventually everyone will find out. My dad is shaking his head and saying no. If that happened, the show will be over. It’s really funny. She makes a lot of mistakes. But, it’s just so funny. Everything about the show is hysterical. It is a new show. It started last March.

ABC

David Brenner, who is head of the FD foundation, knows a producer from a show called Medical Mysteries. So, Dr. Axelrod recommended me to him or the show. We haven’t heard back yet, but I think it will happen and I hope so. If it does I’m going to be jumping up and down yelling and screaming. Daddy says, “It’s not happening yet.” That’s the keyword: YET!
