I had some help from my focus teacher and I just got an A+ in English and an A+ in science. For English, I had to study alot. I am reading The Glass Menagerie and like it alot. Now I am reading Little Women too. For science, we are learning about the periodic table. I was really happy to get the A+!

I took a science course today. Usually, after quizzes we have no homework. In English, we were writing down vocab stuff and I wrote the parts of speech and I wrote eight sentences out of ten altogether, so I finished the last two in history. In history,m I already did the outline that I needed to do, Sonja went out and got me some hazelnut coffee. That’s my favorite. This kid Andre in my class, whenever I have a Diet Coke, he always want it from me.

I got an 87 in my history subject. It is my hardest subject. We were doing feudalism. I studied really hard. Alla and my parents helped me. My parents were really proud of me.

This week I was out sick for two days from school. I had a 24-hour bug. The good news is that I had no homework this week! Why? In English there was a fire drill. Plus, my teacher was about to hand out the assignment, but I had already done it because my Mom and I had read on ahead; I wanted to find out what happened. The book is Crispin. My history teacher, she was going to make photocopies of our projects. Science, she just didn’t give us any homework. I felt very great about it!

I got my tests back this week. I got 93 on my science, 90 on English, 82 in math, and 80 in history. Was I surprised? Not really, because I studied really hard with my Mom and Alla. The teacher said, "Excellent work" and stuff like that. I felt really proud of myself.

I got my midterms back today, and I got two A’s and a B.  It was worth doing all that studying.  I like my English one the best because I really had to learn a lot for that one.  I think I understood it much better now.

I made the Dean’s list last year! You have to get A or B+ or better to make the honor role. It means that I am studying really hard, getting good grades, and getting more blonde highlights! My Mom says that every time I get on the Dean’s list I get more blonde highlights. A lot of my favorite actresses have blonde hair so I wanted to get the highlights. Will I end up completely blonde? I don’t know.

How did I find out? One of the teachers at my school told me. I was in the stairwell. He said, "You made to the honor roll!" I was so surprised. I was happy and proud of myself. My parents were really happy for me. I got a certificate. It is in my room.

This weekend I am studying for tests. Right now we are studying algebra. I am reviewing everything for the midterm: multiplying money and doing the mean, mode, median, and range, and order of operations. I’m pretty good in math, actually. I study for it. Alla and  Mom give me problems to do and then I try to figure it out. I’m getting really good grades on all my tests.

In science, we’re studying geology. I have to review for the test. We’re studying about boundaries (convergent, divergent) and plate tectonics, which is about when plates move together.
